Hypnodrone Ensemble
In May 2016, Berlin-based Hypnodrone Ensemble, a collective comprised of guitarists Aidan Baker, Eric Quach and drummers Felipe Salazar, David Dunnett, Jérémie Mortier performed as a 9-piece band with guest violonist Simon Goff, bassist Félix Todtlöff, baritone guitarist Duchamp & synth/tape player Diego Ferri along to visuals by Robin Thomson. The show was dubbed as Hypnodrone Ensemble Plays Orchestral Favourites.
In May 2017, the same 9-piece lineup recorded a new record at the mighty Vox-Ton Studio in Berlin, engineered by Simon Goff followed a few months later by a re-amping and editing session at Redrum Studio with Simon Goff and Aidan Baker, and mixing session in December 2017 with Eric Quach and Diego Ferri. The result was then mastered by James Plotkin.
