Hidden Museum
The Hidden Museum (Verborgenes Museum), in Berlin-Charlottenburg, is a museum that since 1987 exclusively exhibits works of female artists in the fields of painting, photography, sculpture and architecture. First and foremost you will see the works of European artists who have have been born around the turn of the millennium. Those were the first women artists to be accepted at art academies, finally making a difference within the elite art scene. Worldwide, the Hidden museum in Berlin is the only one, having this particular focus of female artists.
