Helge Schneider
Helge Schneider is a German comedian, jazz musician and multi-instrumentalist, author, film and theatre director, and actor. Schneider's works are an unconventional mixture of horseplay humor, parody, and jazz-influenced music. They involve spontaneity and improvisation as important elements.
In 1992 he had his commercial breakthrough with the album Guten Tach, which was partly recorded live and partly in a studio. Two years later he became known to millions of people through his appearance in the TV show Wetten, dass..?, thereafter his song Katzenklo got into the German charts. Since then Helge Schneider has released more than eleven albums, appeared in several movies, published a series of books and audio books and could also been seen on theater stages.
