Galerie Susanne Albrecht

Susanne Albrecht started working in the gallery scene in Munich, in 1986. Sie was particularly interested in exhibitions of contemporary, American art. In 1993 she curated an exhibition of video art of Jonathan Borofsky, Dennis Oppenheim and Rebecca Horn in an old World War II bunker, in Munich. In 2009 she opened her gallery in Berlin. Its program is dedicated to young, as well as established artists from Germany, Berlin, China, Japan and Italy. Uncompromising love for art and respect for the artists she represents, has been the key element of Susanne Albrecht’s gallery’s concept. It surely keeps it alive up until this day.
