Galeria im. Sleńdzińskich

The Sleńdziński Gallery in Białystok was established in 1992. From the beginning of its existence, it occupied part of the premises of the former Jewish synagogue, located at 24a Waryńskiego Street. The aim of the Gallery is to popularize and make available the collections and legacy of the Sleńdzinski family, documenting the culture of the Eastern Borderlands and presenting the achievements and history of the local artistic community. The Gallery carries out its mission by acquiring, storing and preserving works of art, conducting research, organizing exhibitions, conducting cultural and educational activities.
