Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls

In November, the first best-of album of the wonderful Frank Turner was released called Songbook. In May, the seventh studio album by the charismatic singer, guitarist, and songwriter was released with Be More Kind.

In terms of content, Turner sings about feelings, politics and their staff. The record title comes from a poem by Clive James: In the end, your life reflects exactly how you have treated other people. "Ultimately, 'Be More Kind' is about having my personal and political ideals converge," Turner says it's about empathy: "If you can not talk to your opponent, it comes down to the strength of the weapons. And that is, we hope we agree, always a bad idea."

Musically, Frank Turner is once again breaking new grounds. Together with his producers Austin Jenkins and Joshua Block, he has combined a straight rock sound with synthesizer sounds, creating a special atmosphere that perfectly matches the content of the pieces. And of course, Turner goes on tour with his new songs.
