39. Festiwal Piknik Country i Folk w Mrągowie

As every year in Mrągowo, country music will reverberate. Every year tens of thousands of fans and tourists come to Mragowo for this country music festival, transforming the city completely for a few days. Cowboy costumes, motorcycles, off-road vehicles and music create a unique atmosphere. Some extra activities enrich the programme: Country Parade, breaking the Polish record in linear dance, country dance shows and workshops, swimming marathon.

The first day of the festival is addressed mainly to fans of modern folk, alternative country, indie and Americana. The second day is dedicated to fans of traditional country – the headliner of that day will be Georgetta Jones from the USA, daughter of two of the most prominent representatives of country in the history of the genre, Tammy Wynette and George Jones. Saturday evening will also include a specially prepared Dance Picnic programme. The free, City Picnic program will be announced soon.
