For the these days labels and artists management it is rare to find artists such as Emmanuel Beddewela. Despite his tender age his unique production style has already been able to convince heavy weights of the contemporary underground techno and house scene such as Sven Väth, Ben Sims, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman, Answer Code Request, Regis, Surgeon and many more. He runs his own labels ARTS (Ltd, Collective and Transparent) and Darkmatter Inc.
Sri Lankan and Maledivian roots, born in Pireo, Greece, in 1987, Emmanuel, is a traveling guy. After a short stay in Greece he moved alongside his family towards the grey and foggy north of Italy, to Milan. Here he spent most of his past.
From his early passion for the ethno-folk melodies of the countries in which his DNA is rooted, he soon moved to new sounds, quickly finding great interest in electronic music. By the age of 16, Emmanuel approached his first softwares and started making music. After a short time, he got in touch with several artists and started to establish relationships with a few big names.
