Dział Historii Kanału Augustowskiego Muzeum Ziemi Augustowskiej

A wooden house in empire style used as a museum of the Augustow Canal. It is one of the locations of the Augustów Land Museum under the Augustów Cultural Facilities. The permanent exhibition contains documents and memorabilia related to the history of construction and operation of the Augustow Canal. It is also worth seeing the section devoted to the main designer – Ignacy Prądzyński. The whole exhibition is complemented by screenings of archival films about the facility.
