Drei Meter Feldweg is a German punk rock band founded in 2011. So far, two studio albums and one EP have been released.
Drei Meter Feldweg orients at musical role models such as Die Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte, Broilers or also Montreal, Sondaschule and Rogers. In the beginning, the style of the band was mostly fun punk. Early songs such as Deine Mutter zieht LKW's are pretty rough. Starting from the EP Sommer, Sonne, Bier, a clear ska influence comes through.
At last on the album Hypermaxx 4000 the songs are more elaborated and critical. Besides humorous pieces, there are also socially critical songs such as Kamera or Die klugen Leute. With songs such as Nicht das Volk or Meister Isegrim, Drei Meter Feldweg criticize the growing xenophobia in Germany.
