Theatrical version of Peter Weir's cult film. At the Welton Academy, an elite boarding school for men, another school year begins. John Keating, a new charismatic English teacher, joins the group of teachers. The four principles of the Academy, which are tradition, honour, discipline and perfection, are contrasted with a different way of education and upbringing. The curiosity of the world, sensitivity to literature, the ability to think independently and the desire to develop individual passions are the values that his students try to implement in a secret club of poetry enthusiasts. What will win: a strictly observed tradition or the right to dreams, freedom and youthful rebellion?
