Deskur Palace in Radom

Deskur Palace in Radom (Kamienica Deskurów) – a classicist building located at the Radom Market Square at number 14. The palace was built between 1824-1825 for Andrzej Deskur. After 1830 outbuildings were added, creating a uniform block of buildings. The building is also called the Deskur Tenement House, the Deskur Tenements, and the Deskur House. In 2017, redevelopment of the entire complex of buildings in the quarter of streets between the Market Square, Rwanska, Grodzka and the Parish Church began. After the renovation, the tenements will form a functionally and spatially coherent building with a museum, educational, service and office functions. The building houses, among others, the City Institute, which organises cultural events and exhibitions related to the city's history.
