Dawid Lubowicz
Dawid Lubowicz is a violinist, composer and all-round musically educated Zakopane native. He graduated from the classical violin class of Professor Konstanty A. Kulka at the Academy of Music in Warsaw. For many years he has worked as an arranger and composer in music theatre, being, among others, a co-creator of the popular musical Pilots in Warsaw Roma. Member of numerous and diverse ensembles, including alTango, Opium String Quartet, Atom String Quartet or Bester Quartet. He has collaborated with an endless list of artists that includes names such as Branford Marsalis and Bobby McFerrin. In 2018, he formed his own band, the Dawid Lubowicz Quartet, with whom he recorded the Fryderyk-nominated album Inside.
