Czesław Niemen Amphitheatre

The Czesław Niemen Amphitheater is located right next to Olsztyn's castle. It was built in 1978 on the site of a former moat; since its renovation in 2006, it has a modern, covered stage, 1,300 seats, and underground toilets and utility rooms, as well as an intimate hall for 78 people. It hosts concerts and other artistic shows, entertainment events and even movie screenings; the amphitheater is also the main stage for the annual Olsztyn Summer of the Arts series of events.
