Church of Misery

Church of Misery is a Japanese doom metal band from Shinjuku founded in 1995. It consists of members Tatsu Mikami, Eric Little, Scott Carlson and David Szulkin. Musically they were influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult and Gun.

They published several releases, including the debut album Master of Brutality (2001). The album was followed by The Second Coming (2004) and Dennis Nilsen (2008). One of the last albums is And Then There Were None ... (2016).
