CCA Łaźnia 1
The Gdańsk Centre for Contemporary Art Łaźnia's main objective is to present and disseminate the universal values of contemporary art, which is part of the world's cultural heritage. The Centre's mission is to present the latest artistic phenomena in the process of their transformation, to respond to current cultural and civilisational phenomena in the contemporary world - and at the same time to educate in this field, using new media and technologies. The aims of the institution are realised through the organisation of exhibitions, performances, interventions in public space, workshops, scientific conferences, lectures, shows and film screenings, as well as through publishing activities, international exchanges, artistic residencies and innovative educational programmes. The first building of CCA Łaźnia, located on Jaskolcza Street, presents international art; it is also a place for experimental and educational activities.
