BWA Zielona Góra
The Artistic Exhibitions Office in Zielona Góra was established in 1965 on the initiative of the artists associated in the Zielona Góra Region of the Union of Polish Artists and Designers. From the very beginning it became the organizational base for the most important artistic event of the city. The BWA Gallery in Zielona Góra is currently a place for a broad presentation of various trends in the latest Polish art, regardless of the type of medium, with particular emphasis on attitudes adequate for contemporary artistic practice. Education through lectures, meetings with artists, film screenings, book promotions, presentations of ephemeral activities, sales of publications, workshops for children and teenagers are important elements of its programme.
