Rock, Funk | Blu DeTiger is an American singer-songwriter, bass guitarist, record producer and DJ based in New York City. Until she was 14, her family spent summers in Ibiza, where she was introduced to DJs and house music. She was also influenced by funk and disco music and learned slapping at a young age. As a student at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, she DJed in clubs in Manhattan, playing disco, house and funk while improvising and laying bass lines over the songs.
