Anders Grønlien

Andres Gronlien is a graphic, installation, and conceptual multimedia artist, who has exhibited his work throughout the world including several larger works here in Czech Republic. Gronlien utilizes specialized architectures that frame light, space, sound, and figures in fantastic, otherworldly environments. In addition, the often provocative narrative elements within these environments are influenced by pop-culture, phenomenology and science fiction. Gronlien has also developed and exhibited extensive bodies of drawings, paintings, and photographs, many of the latter involving specialized architectural settings or prosthetic body parts constructed by Gronlien himself.
