Aesthetic Perfection

The band's beginnings date back to the year 2000. The name of the project itself has nothing to do with music, and when asked about it, the leader Graves said "it's a kind of reflection on Hollywood", where he came from and where he created his band. "In Hollywood, everything is heading towards false aesthetic perfection.... you know: movie stars, plastic surgery and generally untrue people. The name of the group reflects this, I thought it was suitable for a formation." It has been more than five years since the band was founded, however, until the release of their debut album Close to Human. Nevertheless, the band has been building its reputation in the alternative music market and all of their later released albums have been released by major music labels such as Out of Line Records in Europe and Metropolis Records in the United States. The band has been performing intensively throughout its existence. They have taken part in joint tours with various alternative scene stars, such as Combichrist in Europe and the United States in 2009, or in 2016 with Swedish Covenant.
